Portable Spas NZ
An embedded content engagement for a nationwide spa pool retailer: search-data-led articles, grounded in a product knowledge base, reviewed against real rankings every month.
The engagement
Portable Spas NZ sells spa pools across New Zealand through an online store. Contenscience runs their content as an ongoing, embedded engagement: a monthly cycle of research, writing, and review that has to earn its keep against real search data.
Where the topics come from
Every piece starts in Google Search Console, not a brainstorm. The queries people already use to find the store, the pages that almost rank, and the questions with no good answer on the site set the agenda. If the data doesn't show demand, the topic doesn't get written.
Keeping the writing factually grounded
Spa buyers ask specific questions about running costs, filtration, water chemistry, and insulation. To keep every article accurate to what Portable Spas NZ sells, the writing is grounded in a knowledge base built from their real product documentation. Product claims come straight from the source material.
The review loop
Published content gets checked against rankings, impressions, and clicks in the months that follow. Pieces that earn positions get expanded. Pieces that stall get reworked or retired. The same reporting covers the whole funnel, from search impressions through to store sessions, so content decisions sit alongside commercial reality.
What it looks like from the client's side
A steady stream of publish-ready articles in the store's own voice, a monthly view of what moved, and one person to talk to about all of it.
